Adjust the time-lapse interval based on the activity you’re shooting. For fast-moving subjects such as traffic, use a shorter interval (1-2 seconds). For slower events such as sunsets, use a longer interval (5-10 seconds).

The recording time for a time-lapse depends on the subject you’re capturing. Here are some general guidelines:
Fast-moving subjects such as traffic, people walking): Record for 10-30 minutes to capture noticeable changes over a short period.
Medium-paced subjects such as cloud movements, day-to-night transitions: Record for 30 minutes to 2 hours to effectively show the progression.
Slow-changing subjects such as sunsets, construction projects: Record for 2 hours to several hours or longer to capture the full transition or process.
