To format the SD card in your Brave 4 Pro action camera, you can follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the Power button to turn on your Brave 4 Pro.
2. Press the Down button or tap the settings icon on the screen to enter the Camera Settings.
3. Find the Format option in the settings, then tap on it.
4. The screen shows "Storage Space: xxG/xxG and Format/Cancel."
5. Press the OK button or tap "Format", the screen shows "Formatting..." and "Format successfully". Then you format your memory card successfully.

The AKASO GO app lets you control your camera remotely using a smartphone or tablet. Features include full camera control, live preview, playback, download, sharing of content, and setting the camera.
1. Turn on the camera, then long press the down button to turn on Wifi. You can also swipe up to the mode menu to turn on Wifi.
2.Turn on your phone's Wifi to enter the Wifi settings, find the camera Wifi AKASO Brave 4 Pro-XXXX in the list, tap on it, then enter the password 1234567890 to connect.
3. Open the AKASO GO app, tap “Device” → “Add device”, and choose “Brave 4 Pro”.
4. Tick "The above operation has been confirmed", and click "Live Preview", your camera will connect with the AKASO GO app.
If you want to turn off the WiFi, please press the OK button.

The Brave 4 Pro action camera features both a front-facing screen and a rear touch screen that can display the camera's live view and settings.
1. You can long press the Up button to switch the front/rear screen.
2. You cannot switch between the screens while the video is recording.
3. The front screen is for display only and does not support touchscreen operation
4. Note that when you switch to the front screen, the camera automatically switches to selfie mode, which may affect the orientation of your footage. Be sure to adjust your camera placement accordingly and check the preview before recording.

Due to product design, there is no mode button on the camera, so you can't switch modes by pressing the button in the waterproof case.

Swipe your finger from the top to the button on the screen, you can tap this icon to turn off the screen, the camera screen turns black and the indicator in the bottom left corner of the screen is blue to indicate that the camera is still running when you tap the screen or press any key the screen lights up, then swipe the icon from left to right to unlock the screen, you can then continue to operate the camera.

The Zoom function lets you adjust how close or far away the subject appears in your photo. The default is no zoom. The zoom function is available in Video and Burst Photo and Timer Photo Mode. Brave 4 Pro can 5X zoom.
1. Turn on Brave 4 Pro.
2. Enter Video or Burst Photo, Timer Photo Mode.
3. Tap the magnifying glass icon to adjust the zoom level.

To find the firmware version of your Brave 4 Pro action camera, you can follow these steps:
Power on the camera and enter the camera settings menu.
then press the down button to find the Device info to check the model, version, and updated time of your Brave 4 Pro.
