Hi there i recently bought the EK7000PRO model (best option for my budget) but i cant get into grips with the time lapse video option.

No matter the interval i choose,1-30 sec, or the time shooting (1min-5min) i only get e 2-3 seconds video. Am i doing something wrong?

My previous action camera was a xiaomi mijia 4k and the time lapse video was as easy as a click on the shutter button (also had a timer of real video length to time lapse video length)

Looking forward to your answer

Hello,

I'm sorry to hear that you're facing difficulties with the time lapse video option on your AKASO EK7000PRO action camera. Let's go through the process and some troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the issue:

  1. Time Lapse Interval: The time lapse interval determines how much time will pass between each photo taken. For example, if you set the interval to 5 seconds, the camera will take a photo every 5 seconds during the time lapse shooting. Make sure you have set an appropriate interval for the effect you want to achieve.
  2. Time Lapse Shooting Duration: This setting determines how long the camera will continue taking photos for the time lapse video. For example, if you set the shooting duration to 5 minutes, the camera will take photos for 5 minutes, which will be condensed into a time lapse video.
  3. Recording Time: After the time lapse shooting is complete, the camera will compile the photos into a time lapse video. The video length will depend on the interval and shooting duration you've set. For example, if you have a 5-minute shooting duration with a 1-second interval, you should get a 5-second time lapse video.
