14Just received my Brave 7, must say it is pretty impressive, the build quality looks very premium, done some tests with it and the recordings are very impressive, also the the ability to use an external microphone is great, good responsive touch screen, also you can switch screens whilst recording, all in all I think Akaso have nailed it with the new Brave 7. the lense cover is also removable, hopefully Akaso will make some ND filters for this. The remote controller too is very well made, again very premium looking and also works flawlessley, I will do some sample recordings and upload to my YouTube Channel very soon

Bought 2 HIGH Endurance SD cards 1x128Gb & 1x256Gb to use (now formatted and ok to use!) as we (riding Buddy & I) are planning for a long road trip around the Philippine Archipelago next yr Quarter 1 soonest quarantine & border restrictions are lifted.
There are functions that I don't see on my cam (under video mode) vs what is shown on the above youtube - these are missing: 1) Slow Motion (after Loop Recording Time) & 2) Still Photo (after Time Lapse Duration). Does my cam need a firmware update? Cam indicates Software version - 20210618-V2.0. Hope somebody from AKASO can provide advise. Thanks!

I was looking forward to purchase the new Aksao Brave 7 until I saw multiple reviews highlighting the internal mic and audio issues.
How does it work for everyone? Apparently there is a firmware update also in the pipeline - has it been updated now? Does the internal mic work fine ?
Alternatively, should i consider the brave 7 Le?
Just a side note to my review, the internal microphone suddenly stopped recording audio, contacted support, who have been superb with this issue, they informed me there would be a firmware update shortly, waited a couple of days opened the Akaso app checked firmware, the app said firmware updated, now internal microphone works great.
I recommend exploring further user reviews sonic exe and conducting your own tests before making a purchasing decision.
