Basic Operations
Before recording videos or taking photos, you need to insert a Micro SD card.
Note: This product package does not include a Micro SD card, which needs to be purchased by yourself. Please purchase a Micro SD card that meets the following requirements.
Micro SD Card Usage Instructions
1. The transfer speed of the Micro SD card must reach U3 level;
2. Maximum support 128 GB (FAT32 format);
3. Using a Micro SD card with a capacity larger than that supported by the camera will cause card reading failure, or cause camera malfunctions, such as card damage, slow system, etc.
Note:
1. Before using the Micro SD card, please complete the formatting in the camera to ensure that it is compatible with the camera. Please format the Micro SD card regularly to maintain good use status and performance. Repeated formatting will delete all data, so please back up important data before repeated formatting.
2. Using a Micro SD card with a capacity larger than that supported by the camera will cause card reading failure, or cause camera malfunctions, such as card damage, slow system, etc.
3. After the first use or reset, the action camera 4K screen will display the quick settings page. Please set the system language and time before using the camera.
Install the Micro SD card
Find the Micro SD card slot, then insert the Micro SD card into the slot (with the label facing the display). If you need to remove the Micro SD card, press down to eject it.
Note: Please turn off the camera before inserting or removing the Micro SD card.
Install the battery
Open the battery cover, insert the battery into the battery slot, and then close the battery cover. If you need to remove the battery, pull up the battery handle to remove it.
Charging
Find the USB charging port, then use the included charging cable to connect the camera to a USB charger or computer for charging. When charging, the indicator light turns red and flashes, and turns off when fully charged. Please unplug the charging cable after fully charged. Tip: Please fully charge the camera before first use; you can also use the charger to fully charge the battery before inserting it into the camera; the camera supports recording up to 90 minutes of 1080P60 video after full charge, and the actual battery life varies depending on the use environment or settings.
Power on and off
In the off state, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the camera. At this time, the status indicator light turns on, the camera makes a sound to prompt the power on, and enters the preview interface.
In the on state, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn off the camera. At this time, the status indicator turns off, and the camera makes a sound to prompt the power off.
Turn on/off Wifi
Turn on Wifi
After the camera is turned on, short press the /Wifi button to turn on Wif. After 3 seconds, the camera enters Wifi mode and displays Wifi information, and the Wif indicator light flashes slowly. Tip: The indicator light is always on after the Wifi connection is successful.
Turn off Wifi
In Wif mode, short press /Wif key to turn off Wifi.
Switch mode
Switch: In the preview interface, short press the mode key to switch modes. Modes include video recording, photo taking, continuous shooting, time-lapse and system settings.
Exit: Short press the mode key to exit the current mode.
Zoom
In the preview interface, long press the up key or down key to zoom in or out the screen, short press once to zoom in or out 0.5 times. The device supports up to 4 times zoom.
Shutter
When the camera is powered on, it is in the photo or video mode. Press the shutter button to take a photo or record a video.
1. Press the shutter button to start taking a photo or recording a video. The working indicator light flashes slowly.
2. Press the shutter button again to stop recording (only in video mode).
Enter the settings page
In the preview interface, press the mode button until the settings icon appears on the screen, then press the shutter button to enter the camera settings page.
Enter the playback page
In the preview interface, press the up button to enter the playback page and select a video or photo file for playback.
Mode List
This camera has 5 modes: video recording, photo taking, continuous shooting, time-lapse and system settings. In the preview interface, short press the mode button to switch modes.
(1) Normal video recording mode
The camera defaults to normal video recording mode after powering on. In video recording mode, after short pressing the shutter button, the camera starts recording at the set resolution and frame rate. Press the shutter button again to stop recording.
(2) Photo mode
In the preview interface, press the mode button to enter the photo mode. In the photo mode, after short pressing the shutter button, the camera takes photos according to the set photo resolution.
(3) Continuous shooting mode
In the preview interface, short press the mode button twice to enter the continuous shooting mode. In this mode, after short pressing the shutter button, the camera can take 3 photos per second.
(4) Time-lapse photography mode
In the preview interface, enter the settings page, find the "Time-lapse photography" option and enable this function, then press the confirmation key to return to the preview interface, and the camera will enter the time-lapse photography mode. In this mode, after a short press of the shutter button, the camera will take a series of photos at the set timed shooting interval and combine these photos into a video.
(5) Time-lapse video mode
In the preview interface, enter the settings page, find the "Time-lapse video" option and enable this function, then short press the confirmation key and the mode key to return to the preview interface, and the camera will enter the time-lapse video mode. In the comparison mode, after a short press of the shutter button, the camera extracts video frames at the set time-lapse interval and compresses a long-shot video into a short-time fast-motion video.
Setting mode
In the preview interface, press the mode key continuously until the setting icon · appears on the screen, then short press the shutter key to enter the camera's setting page and set the system parameters according to your preferences.
